Steadman all set to play for Aussie legends

WESTOE No 8 Ollie Stedman is heading down under to join legendary Australian club Randwick RFC.

The Sydney-based outfit have provided a conveyor-belt of international players for the Wallabies, with allumni from the ‘Galloping Greens’ including David Campese, Simon Poidevin and Phil Kearns among many others.

Stedman (pictured above), a former Newcastle Falcons academy player and professional with Leeds Carnegie last season, had scored nine tries in his 20 competitive outings for the Shieldsmen this term.

Now continuing the tradition of goal-kicking forwards in the mould of World Cup winning skipper John Eales, Stedman also slotted 20 conversions and 15 penalties during his stint at Wood Terrace.
