Newcastle Falcons will open their new Guinness Premiership campaign with three of their first four games of the season being played at Kingston Park.
The Falcons start with the visit of Sale Sharks at home on the weekend of September 15 before a trip to London Irish is followed by two more home games against Harlequins and Leeds.
Newcastle enjoyed a six-month unbeaten run at Kingston Park last season and the fixtures, which were announced yesterday, give them a wonderful chance of gaining some early-season momentum.
At this stage all dates are `weekend of' with specific days and times to be confirmed, but the Falcons have already outlined their commitment for predominantly Sunday afternoon fixtures with a small number of Fridays thrown in, as well as possible date changes due to TV commitments and clashes with other major sporting events. The draws for the European Challenge Cup and EDF Energy Cup are yet to be made.
This season will see no Guinness Premiership action on Boxing Day or New Year's Day, but the festive period still sees top rugby action as Newcastle host Gloucester on the weekend of December 22 before travelling to Saracens on the weekend of December 29. Season tickets are available now for the 2007-08 campaign, with adult prices starting from as little as £168 for all 11 Guinness Premiership and three European pool games.
For more information, or to book, call 0871 226 60 60 or pop to Kingston Park during office hours.
