Catalans Dragons recorded their biggest ever win to move further clear of the bottom of the engage Super League with a 66-6 victory over Salford City Reds in Perpignan.

The win moves Michael Potter's men into sixth after running in 13 tries for their first league win in three games, plunging the Reds into deeper trouble at the foot of the table.

While it was easy to see why the Reds were propping up the Super League table, it was hard at times to believe how the Dragons kicked off just a place above them, such was the quality of their play.

Reds hooker David Berthezene, on a season-long loan from the Catalans, returned to the side after being given the all-clear to face his parent club but the Frenchman was unable to use any inside knowledge to stifle the Dragons.
