BEDLINGTON Terrier Reserves won the game between the top two Division One sides in the semi-finals of the Anderson Cup.

BEDLINGTON Terrier Reserves won the game between the top two Division One sides in the semi-finals of the Anderson Cup.

Chris Dobey, Mick Grieves and Ronnie Foreman all scored for Bedlington, while Neil McFall replied for Alnwick.

In the Robson Cup, a last- minute goal from Mike Openshaw gave Embleton WR a win against Craster Rovers. Belford, Berwick United Reserves and Wooler progressed to the semi-finals with victories over Tweedmouth Rangers, Shilbottle Reserves and Hedgeley Rovers respectively.

In Division Two, Gareth Jackson, Rory Wood and Mark Chatterton all netted for Longhoughton Reserves.

However, they had to be content with a share of the points as Alnmouth replied with goals from Mick Straker, Mark Oman and Ron Murray.
