KENNETH Ferrie signed for a par score for the second day running at European Tour Q School yesterday, but missed the final stage cut with four of the six rounds completed at PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona, northern Spain.

The Ashington golfer shot a 70 on the Tour Course and his nine-over total of 293, following earlier rounds of 80, 71 and 72, left him 12 shots adrift of the top 25 golfers currently on target to regain their tour cards.

In a field of 156, the top 70 cut fell at two over with Ferrie among nine players who tied for 123rd place.

His next chance to win his card back is to qualify through next year’s Challenge Tour.
