BADMINTON England and the South East Northumberland Community Badminton Network (CBN) are teaming up to provide coaching for the over- 50s in Cramlington and Blyth.
The initiative follows the success of a similar scheme ijn Ashington.
The sessions will be hosted by Concordia Leisure Centre and Blyth Sports Centre and are open to beginners or those wishing to return to the game.
Instruction is provided by level two coaches and equipment is provided.
Concordia’s sessions are on Tuesdays (noon to 1pm) starting on July 26.
Blyth Sport Centre coaching is on Wednesdays (also noon to 1pm) starting on July 27.
Both sessions cost £3, with the first session free, and bookings are not needed in advance.
