ALNWICK rattled in six tries in a scrappy game with numerous stoppages.

ALNWICK rattled in six tries in a scrappy game with numerous stoppages.

They led 15-6 at half-time against spirited visitors with tries from winger Andrew Shell and Ian Gray.

Full-back James Bird added a conversion and penalty while centre Turner kept Horden in touch with two penalties.

In the second half, Alnwick’s fast running backs produced four tries aided by good ball from the forwards.

The tries flowed from Moralee, Hutchinson, Potts and Massey with Bird again adding a penalty and a conversion.

Mason was driven over for a try in a rare Horden attack.
