Whitley Bay A striker Andrew Robertson impressed as he hit a hat-trick against Hebburn Reyrolle.

It wasn’t just the forward’s ability to find the net which made him stand out, but his running off the ball and positional sense all helped to tear the basement side apart.

The Seahorses’ hitmen were left to jostle it out among themselves over who had a claim on the matchball as Connor Johnson and Dylan Blake also netted trebles with the ball being sprayed all over the pitch.

Johnny Godsmark found the back of the net twice and David Fairgrieve, Liam Harris and Lewis Burns all added to the bumper total.

Reyrolle, who are now rooted to the foot of the table, did hit replies through Chris Ives, Adam Smith and Michael Alexander, but were totally outclassed on the day.

Walker Central made hard work of disposing of a Percy Main side who played for 75 minutes with ten men following a dismissal.

However, second-half goals from Darren Walsh and Kurt Burns ensured the victory which put them back on top of the table.

Northbank edged up into mid-table thanks to a smart Ricky Lee James finish which proved the only counter against Strocksfield and Seaton Delaval also moved themselves up the table as they beat Red House Farm.

Paul Bonnick took advantage of a goalkeeping error to put the Red Devils in front almost straight from the kick off and Michael Fenwick added number two after the break with a cool back-past finish.

Lee Dunn pulled one back with five minutes to go as the visitors rallied but couldn’t force the issue.
