FITZ Hall says it is a “dream come true” to join Newcastle United.
The QPR defender has joined on a loan deal that runs until March and is reunited with former team-mate Wayne Routledge, who signed for United earlier this week.
With Steven Taylor (pictured right) ruled out until March he will compete with new boy Mike Williamson and existing pair Fabricio Coloccini and Tamas Kadar for a first team place.
“When you get the chance to come to a club like Newcastle you don't think twice - there's no decision to make really,” he said.
“Even to come on loan is a dream come true. I've been hearing about the possibility of a move for a week or so now and I'm delighted to be here.
“My aim has got to be to win a place in the team because I want to play games. I've been impressed with the way Newcastle have adapted to the Championship because sometimes teams struggle when they come down from the Premier League.
“But they have done well and that shows by their position.”
“I've spoke with Wayne but all he wanted to tell me all about how he set up the goal on Wednesday night!
“It's the third club we've been together at - just as well as I get on with him. He was my room-mate at QPR so I had to come up here because I was lonely without him!”
