1. THE CRAZIEST SEASON I CAN REMEMBER FOR A WHILE

It has been an emotionally draining season for everyone involved in the Premier League and I think you are starting to see that manifest itself in the results and performances of all of the teams in the division.

I’ve never seen so many individual errors and that is down to exhaustion and the work put in over a long, long season. There’s so much at stake and there’s a World Cup coming in a few weeks which is at the back of everyone’s minds as well. I honestly think there are more twists and turns to come – it’s not over yet.

2. SUNDERLAND LOOK SAFE – IF THEY CAN MAINTAIN INTENSITY

The Black Cats have put themselves in a great position, and with their fixtures they could have it wrapped up before the end of the season. The key is to maintain that intensity, that work-rate and that desire for the next few games. It’s there for them now – they can’t afford to slip up.

3. I’M GUTTED FOR LIVERPOOL AND GERRARD

Steven Gerrard is a great captain and leader so for it to be him making that mistake against Chelsea on Sunday was a hammer blow for Liverpool. He doesn’t deserve it.
