Blyth Spartans quickly recovered from losing at the weekend to complete the double over Frickley Athletic at Croft Park last night.

South Shields produced a shock by defeating Bishop Auckland at Heritage Park. Adam Burnicle stabbed the ball into the net after 67 minutes and in the last minute, with Bishop goalkeeper Scott Pocklington up for a corner, Burnicle ran half the length of the field and slotted the ball into an empty net.
