ATROMITOS coach Dusan Bajevic has pledged to play his strongest eleven against Newcastle United in Athens tomorrow night.
Unlike his counterpart Alan Pardew, the Serb is not considering resting anyone for the Europa League first-leg play-off match.
The winner of this tie will enter the group stages, something that in terms of finance would be of much greater benefit to the Greeks.
Pardew made the point at the weekend that the Europa League is not a particular money-spinner, certainly compared to the vast Premier League riches, but it should come as no surprise that this Greek club could do with the extra income.
Bajevic said: “We have everyone fit and I will play what I believe is our strongest team. If we did not then it would be very difficult for us.
“We want to progress to the group stages and to that end we must not lose the first game, so we need be at our best. It is a challenge and one we are looking forward to.
“The players have trained well for the past week and know what we expect of them.”
