Adam Campbell joins St Mirren on loan until end of the season

Adam Campbell has joined St Mirren on loan until the end of the season.

The Geordie striker has followed in the footsteps of Paul Dummett and Conor Newton and joins up with ex-United coach Tommy Craig at the Paisley club.

St Mirren boss Danny Lennon has confirmed the deal.

He could make his debut against Kilmarnock on January 2.

Lennon said: "He has a great hunger, desire and speed.

"He. Just wants to go out and be given an opportunity."
