On your marks for No1 spot

Two familiar faces are looking for a worthy number one to run a magical charity run.

A splash of Harry Potter sparkle is coming to the latest Cancer Research UK race as two of the film's most popular figures look for a runner to lead the way. The 10k event is being held on September 3 at Alnwick Castle - the famous setting for Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and home to Harry Potter and his mystical friends.

And the castle's very own Hogrid and Professor Dumbledare have been recruited to help find someone who deserves to wear the "number one" running number. The Professor said: "Hogrid is keen to throw his considerable weight behind Cancer Research UK and we would both like to help the search for the number one."

Event organiser Andy Wilson said: "Wearing the number one at any running event is special and we are keen to give our number one to someone who would be proud to wear it. Perhaps it may be someone who is currently fighting cancer, or have loved ones with cancer or whom they have lost to cancer."

Anyone wishing to wear the worthy No1 shirt should email andy.wilson@cancer.org.uk
