Concerns have been raised about the overgrown appearance of a popular walkway beside the River Tweed at Berwick.
Councillors have been told that a number of people have complained about the condition of the New Road between the Berwick Amateur Rowing Club clubhouse and the Royal Border Railway Bridge. Members of the Town Committee have instructed officers to deal with the problem.

Carl McGee, Claire Barrett and James Mackay will run the world's biggest half marathon on Sunday October 1 for Centrepoint Derwentside - a charity for the homeless.
