These Tyneside businessmen are prepared to go the Full Monty to raise cash for charity – are you up for it too?

Organisers of a calendar in which these lads bare all are looking for one more volunteer to appear in it with them.

It will be unveiled at a fundraising ball at the Marriott Hotel in Gosforth, Newcastle on October 5, organised by Michelle Hilling.

Michelle runs the U hairdressing salon in Gosforth High Street and her husband Darren Hilling is one of the brave volunteers who have shed their clothes for the 2014 calender.

Our picture shows Darren, of DMH Contracts, posing with Dave Roberts of Northumbrian Brewery and Michael Kears of Acrol Air Conditioning.

There is one month slot left to fill and volunteers are needed for a photo shoot on September 15.

The £10 calendar has an outdoor and gardening theme and all the money raised will go towards creating a garden for patients at St Oswald’s Hospice in Newcastle.

Michelle was also involved in a charity race night at the hotel earlier this year which raised £6,000 towards a greenhouse for the garden.

Michelle said: “When we approached men in businesses in the area to do the calender we had a brilliant response.”

Venture Photography, 24/7Graphics and printers Robinsons all provided their services free to produce the calendar.

Tickets for the ball, featuring Carol Decker of 1980s chart toppers T’Pau, cost £65 and are available on 07979 752451. It is hoped £10,000 will be raised, part of which will go to the hospice.
