Police have appealed for information about the whereabouts of a young North Tyneside man.
Nadim Hassan Omar, [correct] 18, was last seen at his home in Wallsend on January 30. He is known to visit the Heaton area of Newcastle.
Nadim is described as being 5ft 8in tall, with a medium build and Afro-style hair. Anyone with in formation should ring Northumbria Police on 0845 604-3043 ext 63392.
POTS and pans in a Wallsend college kitchen are being polished for a final to find the region's best school chef.
Tyne Metropolitan College's Hospitality and Catering Department is warming up to host the LACA School Chef of the Year 2007 Regional Finals on Monday.
The North-East Regional Final will be held in the college's Segedunum Restaurant.
DISTRICT nurses on Tyneside will provide a new clinic service at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
It will allow patients in Newcastle to see a district nurse out of hours by booking an appointment. The service is available at Arthur's Hill Clinic, Gosforth Memorial Clinic and Geoffrey Rhodes Clinic.

The Centre for Lifelong Learning has organised Writing Out: Creative Writing courses to take place from Wednesday between 10.30am and 1pm for eight weeks or sessions on Saturday, June 16, 23 or 30 from 10am to 1.20pm.
