Parents and carers have helped design the services available at the £715,000 Sure Start Children's Centre, in Byerley Road, Shildon, County Durham, on the site of Timothy Hackworth Primary School.
Sign of thanks
VOLUNTEER lifesavers in a Northumberland village have thanked a mystery person who handed in a missing magnetic sign from one of their emergency vehicles.
Seahouses Ambulance First Responders were called to an emergency incident just after 2pm on Monday. But on the way, the vehicle lost its magnetic sign that attaches to the bonnet. It was later discovered outside the home of the driver.
