Metro and Magic Radio have a new voice for the Newcastle United coverage ready for the new season. Pete Graves, a local lad from Northumberland, has been at Metro for two years and is overjoyed with his promotion.
Pete is also an avid supporter and has backed the team through thick and thin.
To get a fashionable new look to go with his fabulous new job, I took Pete to some of the high fashion stores Newcastle has to offer.
Our first outfit comes from Cruise in Princess Square, Newcastle. We went for a smart outfit made up of black Hugo Boss trousers, a white pleated collar Prada shirt and a Vivienne Westwood charcoal grey jumper. This outfit was smart but casual so Pete could attend any formal events without feeling overdressed.
Cruise 2, just over the road, is where we went to put together an outfit for socialising after the game. The T-shirt we chose was from the Worn By range. This range of clothing takes iconic images of past legends wearing an item of clothing. In our particular case, the T-shirt was inspired by one worn by John Bonham of Led Zeppelin and we paired this with a pair of black PRPS jeans to complete the look.
The third outfit modelled by Peter came from Fenwick in Eldon Square. With help from the Fenwick menswear team we came up with a perfect outfit made up of a washed-out grey fitted tailored jacket by Diesel, with a striped Diesel shirt over a black Diesel T-shirt and finished the outfit with some stonewashed Diesel jeans.
Pete really liked all the clothes but his favourite outfit was from Cruise, as he really liked the Vivienne Westwood jumper.
Special thanks to: Lyn Spencer and Suhaine Stevens at White Hot Communications. All the team at Cruise, Cruise 2 and Fenwick. Also thanks to all the team at St James' Park, Newcastle, where the photographs were taken.
