The Prince of Wales has launched an own-brand whisky.

Prince Charles himself selected the final blend of malts from distilleries in the North Highlands of Scotland for Barrogill, which takes its name from the former title of the Castle of Mey in Caithness, the late Queen Mother's 16th Century home.

The drink is said to have a "full-bodied, floral and sweet fruity aroma" with a "sweet and spicy flavour" and a "warm peaty undertone."

A bottle costs £19.99 and each sale will produce a royalty for the Prince's North Highlands Initiative (NHI), which is aimed at boosting the local economy.
