The Tyne and Wear Metro will return to full-length trains on Sundays from this weekend for the duration of the summer.
Arriva, Stagecoach and Go North-East buses will operate a Sunday service on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

STAFF at the Plessey Woods country park near Bedlington will host their annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Sunday at 10.30am.
The event, for children of all ages, includes egg decorating, an egg hunt, egg `boolin' and an egg and spoon race. It costs £2.50 and participants need to bring along three hard-boiled eggs.
POLICE in North Tyneside are urging residents to keep their windows and doors secure as the summer approaches. Officers say they have had a number of reports of house burglaries in the last week across the borough.
COUNCIL houses in Gateshead are being refurbished as part of the East Neighbourhood Housing Improvement Works.
Staff will carry out internal and external refurbishment of 327 homes on The Nest Estate, Felling, where work is due to be completed by the end of January 2008.
Work will also be carried out on 374 properties at Redemarsh Estate, Leam Lane, from May 8.
