TAKING part in the Vote that Counts couldn’t be simpler. You can vote online for one of our six nominated charities, for free, at www.votethatcounts.org

Then if you “share” your vote on Facebook or Twitter, and tell your social media friends what you’ve done, you’ll get an extra vote for the charity you have already voted or for one of the others – again, for free.

Voting takes place from today, October 29, until November 18, with the charity that gets the most votes by the end of the competition winning.

Top prize is £15,000, with runners up receiving £10,000 and £5,000 respectively, and all the cash comes from the People’s Postcode Trust, with money raised by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The winner will be announced in The Journal and online on November 26.
