IF you are planning a holiday abroad or just hoping to soak up the rays in Britain then you will need some snazzy swimwear. The bikini has long ruled the beach, but this summer the swimsuit has made a comeback.

Designer stores and high-street chains are awash with different styles – from flattering all-in-ones, to sexy cut-out suits and plunge necklines.

Floral has been a big hit on the catwalks and this has crossed over into swimwear.

Next has a stunning pink floral swimsuit for £22 which is flattering for all figures while Matthew Williamson’s Butterfly range has a peacock plum swimsuit for £30.

FrostFrench has also has a floral bikini for £28 which will guarantee that you will turn heads on the beach.

If you are after a bargain, Matalan has some great separates in stock, including a leaf halterneck bikini top with matching belted shorts for just £9.

Brights are everywhere too. Figleaves.com has a palm green halterneck top for £65, which can be teamed with shimmer briefs, £58, and Kaleidoscope has a flattering teal bandeau style Swimsuit for just £12.50.

Other high-street hits include a bronze animal print bikini top, £5, and animal print bottoms, £4, from Matalan, a cleavage-enhancing sparkle bikini from Triumph International for £53 and a striped bikini top, £35, and briefs, £32, from figleaves.com.

Whichever style you choose to wear, you’ll look sizzling this summer!
