Attacks on two Nato convoys in eastern Afghanistan left two soldiers dead and another wounded yesterday.

Attacks on two Nato convoys in eastern Afghanistan left two soldiers dead and another wounded yesterday. The convoys were patrolling five miles apart when they were struck with roadside bombs within 30 minutes of each other. Most of the troops in the area are American. Earlier, an explosion in southern Afghanistan killed two Canadian soldiers and injured three others.
