THE Highlights Rural Touring Scheme has some attractive offerings for Northumberland theatre-goers in April.

You’re Not Like the Other Girls Chrissy, by award-winning solo performer Caroline Horton, is on in Craster Memorial Hall (Wednesday April 6), The Cheviot Centre in Wooler (Thursday 7) and the village hall at Middleton, Morpeth (Friday 8). The shows start at 7.30pm

Later in the month A Thousand Cranes – The Paper Washi Wish, a family show featuring Japanese storytelling and paper theatre comes to Berwick United Reformed Church (April 16 at 3pm) and Stocksfield Community Centre (17 at 2.30pm).
