A FAMILY music festival is being held in Redesdale next month.
Redefest, now in its fifth year, takes place on Saturday 6 August from 12.30pm- 10.30pm in Rochester, near Otterburn. The day will bring together people in the Rede Valley and further afield to be entertained by musicians from the region and to raise funds for local causes.
The music line-up includes performances by The Rhythm Thieves, Parton Brow, and Jessica Lamb, a 16-year-old Northumbrian pipe player and singer from Bellingham. There will also be workshops and activities for adults and children.
Entry is £4 for adults and £10 for a family ticket. See www.redefest.org.uk for more details.
