A man has been left with a broken jaw after being punched outside a bar.

The 22-year-old was attacked outside Bubbles in John Street, Ashington in Northumberland, on July 13.

Police say he was approached by a man and, for reasons unknown, punched in the face.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “The 22-year-old was punched in the face and needed hospital treatment. Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.”
