Each day during the school holidays, between noon and 3pm, there will be drop-in craft workshops where youngsters can make their own blooms from brightly coloured tissue. A special Easter bunny will be greeting visitors over the four-day holiday weekend.

And on Easter Saturday scores of bikers will be gathering at Woodhorn before setting off at 11.30am on their 53-mile charity egg run, which will see chocolate treats delivered to children’s homes and hospital wards across the region.
