DROP-IN sessions are being held for residents to find out more on a scheme to improve health and social care in Tynedale.
The plan by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust involves building a new purpose-built facility in place of Haltwhistle War Memorial Hospital and the provision of extra care services to replace those delivered by the Greenholme residential home, which closed in 2009.
The Trust plans to invest £200m in improving care in Northumberland and North Tyneside over the next 10 years.
Residents can give their views on the NHS developments at sessions at Haltwhistle Methodist Church Hall on Thursday 23 June from 10- noon and Thursday 30 June from 6- 8pm; Bellingham Methodist Church Hall on Thursday 5 July from 11am-1pm; the atrium of Hexham General Hospital on Friday 8 July from 11am- 2pm; Allendale Village Hall on 15 July from 11am- 1pm and Haydon Bridge Community Centre on Thursday 21 July from 11am- 1pm.
