Alice in Wonderland set for the stage in Newbiggin

A DANCE school is bringing a children’s favourite to the stage.

A DANCE school is bringing a children’s favourite to the stage.

The Gladwin Ballet and Stage is presenting a musical version of Alice in Wonderland at Newbiggin Sports and Community Centre on February 21, 22 and 23 at 7.15pm.

More than 60 young dancers from the Morpeth and Blyth areas are taking part.

They range in age from four to 17 and the cast also includes a number of parents.

Alice is played by 13-year-old Amber Jackson from Ashington, heading a cast which also includes the White Rabbit and Queen of Hearts.

Tickets are £5.50 adult and £5 concessions. They are available at the door, or by telephone booking on 01670 850921/07818 086681.

There will be some tickets available at the door each night.
