  Sometimes I find it hard to read the headlines on the newspaper pages The newspapers use a wide variety of point sizes in headlines according to the balance of stories on each page and the way they have been designed. We have tried to make the e:edition work for both broadsheet and tabloid pages. These sizes are obviously very different, so you will see some small headlines on broadsheet pages, and where we display tabloid pages as spreads. To read a story, you can left click on the story to use the zoom in / out facility with your mouse or use the arrow keys. I am unable to view The Journal e:edition Check to see if your browser has been set to block pop-ups. Many browsers and some third-party plug-ins (such as the Google toolbar) now include the ability to block pop-ups. If there is sufficient demand for this service, we may reconsider this decision. How far back can I search? The search facility will only allow you to search the current edition. Options include Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Switch. Can I take a break from my subscription? We do not currently offer this facility. Is there a special student/company/institution discount available? We do not offer a special student discount. However, if you would like to apply for a company or institution-wide subscription for multiple users, please send your details to enquiries@thejournal.co.uk Can I have an annual subscription? If you would like to pay for an annual rather than a monthly subscription, please email enquiries@thejournal.co.uk Will all supplements with The Journal be accessible with the e:edition?Only supplements printed by Newcastle Chronicle & Journal Ltd will be accessible with the e:edition. At times, we may include a supplement from a third-party with the newsprint edition of The Journal, in these cases, the supplement will not be available in the e:edition.
