Sunderland Pianoforte Society are bringing acclaimed concert pianist Sarah Beth Briggs to Wearside for a concert tomorrow night.
Sarah, who gained national recognition in 1984 when she became one of the youngest ever finalists of the BBC's Young Musician of the Year competition, will play a concert at Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens.
Back in 1984, Sarah was just 11. In the time that has lapsed since, she has played concerts all over the UK with some of the country's top orchestras as well as a completely a string of performances across Europe and the USA.
Tomorrow night Sarah will perform pieces by Haydn, Mozart, Bartok, Rachmaninov, Brahms and Chopin.
