North East fans will be able to hear Bryan Ferry perform numbers from his new album when he gigs in Newcastle next year.
The star, born in Washington, Tyne & Wear, has announced a 2015 tour bringing him to Newcastle City Hall on Sunday, May 17.
Ferry has been performing around the world this year and put in a well-received appearance at Glastonbury in the summer.
The newly announced dates will feature a set-list including Roxy Music and solo hits and also songs from new album Avonmore which is to be released on November 17 .
It is Ferry’s 14th solo album and features eight new compositions along with a version of Send in the Clowns by Stephen Sondheim.
Produced by Ferry and Rhet Davies in Ferry’s London studio, the album features performances by long-term musical partners including Nile Rodgers, Johnny Marr and Marcus Miller.
The album includes forthcoming new single Loop De Li, Soldier of Fortune – co-written with Johnny Marr – and closing track Johnny & Mary, result of a recent collaboration with Norwegian producer and DJ Todd Terje.

Earlier this year Bryan Ferry received an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Newcastle University where he studied fine art in the late 1960s.
