Culture members have the chance to stroll down memory lane in the company of country music star Dolly Parton – or a close-run thing anyway.
Andrea Pattison will be performing as the popular singer-songwriter in The Dolly Parton Story – featuring the star’s colourful life and career – at Empire Theatre, Consett, on Saturday, June 29 and members have the chance to share in the fun of an energy-fuelled evening for free.
There’s a chance to win a pair of tickets to the 7.30pm show which pays tribute to the music icon.
Pattison, backed by a four-piece band, will be performing classics from across Parton’s career from early country songs such as Coat of Many Colours to later hits including Islands in the Stream and 9 to 5.
