Get ready for October 30, when you can enter into the Magical World of Lawnmowers Theatre Company and take a visual, shared journey of live music and theatre, before taking the opportunity to have a go yourself.
The event will be held at Lawnmowers Independent Theatre Co, Gateshead, where you will be met by the Lawnmowers’ Fool Ensemble and led gently into a fantastical world of mask, clowns and puppetry in the small theatre.
You will be given the chance to try on many masks from all over the planet or have a play with the clown’s red nose, which is, of course, the smallest mask in the world.
Then you’ll be able to feast your ears upon the beautiful music of Lawnmowers Beat This!, grab an instrument and be led through some fun rhythms with the guidance of some fantastic teachers. Afterwards, grab your family and friends for some snacks and drinks. You will be able to learn some songs and listen to the Lawnmowers’ Find your Voice choir.
It promises to be a great family experience and offers an opportunity to have fun, be creative and learn some new musical skills.
Lawnmowers Theatre Company was established in 1986 and aims to provide solid foundations for people with learning difficulties to participate fully in their own society, shape their own environment and control their own futures.
