County Durham’s Hall Hill Farm has scooped the title of Best In Education in the National Farm Attraction Network awards, beating stiff competition from scores of similar attractions across the UK.
The farm near Lanchester, welcomed its first visitors of the year during half-term last week.
Tourism manager Ann Darlington said: “We are thrilled to be named as Best in Education, as we were up against farm attractions from all over the country.
“We have all worked very hard to make sure that we provide each visitor with an enjoyable and memorable experience. The fact we have won another national award is a real credit to all of our staff.”
Hall Hill Farm aims to be both educational and entertaining, helping to tell the story of the North East countryside.
