The special anniversary prize show of cattle scheduled to take place at Hexham Auction Mart tomorrow evening will now take place at 8.30am on Friday prior to the sale of cattle at 9.30am.

Auctioneer Chris Armstrong and his team are looking forward to their busiest day’s trading of the summer so far with 700 store cattle and 1,000 store lambs offered for sale throughout the day.

Also going under the hammer are 120 head of breeding cattle including important dispersals on behalf of Alcan Farms and Adam Forster, Camperdown Farm, Shotley Bridge.

In addition, show sponsors Harbro will be demonstrating their modern and innovative livestock feed products and processes from 2pm.
