Gentoo appointed for £5m care home work

Hart Lodge will provide care for those with brain injuries and disabilities

Gentoo Construction has been appointed to build a £5m care facility in Hartlepool.

The company, part of Gentoo Group, was appointed for the work by North East care provider Careline Lifestyles, which will be responsible for the state-of-the-art Hart Lodge, providing residential and nursing care to adults suffering from brain injuries and various disabilities.

Gentoo Construction managing director Allan Thompson said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to build Careline Lifestyle’s new state of the art facility. It is an exciting project and it fits perfectly with Gentoo’s Art of Living agenda. We are very much looking forward to growing our relationship with the Careline Lifestyles team.”
