A grade II Listed building in Newcastle city centre is entering a new era as a refurbishment project gets underway to provide 15,000sqft of Grade A office space.
Gainsborough House, asset managed by Cushman & Wakefield Investors, is a mixed use five-storey building on Grey Street. Since acquiring the property in 2008, Cushman & Wakefield Investors have made a considerable investment in modernising the space. In 2012 the second and third floors underwent a refurbishment and last year the ground floor and basement were let to restaurant operator, Café Rouge on a 15-year lease.
Cushman and Wakefield are now investing in the refurbishment of the first and fourth floors following the vacation of tenant Irwin Mitchell Solicitors. Naylors Chartered Surveyors and GVA are joint letting agents.
