Specialist retailer The Radiator Worx, has taken unit 5, a 4,650 sq ft unit on UK Land Estates’ Blaydon Trade Park, Toll Bridge Road, immediately to the south of Chainbridge Road, the main highway through Blaydon.

The Radiator Worx sells designer radiators.

Mark Proudlock, associate, Knight Frank who jointly with DTZ advised UKLE, says the trade park continues to attract a great deal of interest “due to its visibility from the busy Chainbridge Road and proximity to the Metrocentre and areas of population”.

Immediately opposite is another UK Land Estates development, Dutton Court which also benefits from the prominent Chainbridge Road location.

The property offers a mix of retail showroom, leisure and more traditional trade warehouse accommodation and as a result has been successful in attracting several occupiers including Inline Fitness, a gym operator providing a range of training classes and bespoke conditioning which will open its doors to the public later this year and HSL, a specialist furniture retailer which occupies a large showroom with adjoining warehouse.

Mark Proudlock adds: “Blaydon is busy with a good mix of businesses. The excellent access being so close to the A1 is a strong selling point as are rentals from just £4.50 per sq ft.”
