Two new tenants are taking units at Hawick Crescent Business Park, Ouseburn, Newcastle.
Commercial Estates Group has let two business units at Hawick Crescent Industrial Park on St Lawrence Road, off Walker Road, a mile east of Newcastle city centre. The scheme, which has 14 business units extends to a total area of 61,700 sq ft.
GVA and joint letting agent BNP Paribas Real Estate have secured two new tenants for the scheme and report strong interest in the remaining three units.
Units 13 and 14 extending to 10,491 sq ft have been occupied by Nicklin Furniture, specialists in architectural joinery and manufacturers of bespoke high-end furniture and metal finishes. Unit 8 (2,322 sq ft) has been let to Crossfit for use as a personal training fitness facility.
Danny Cramman of GVA said: “The recent lettings show the strength of Hawick Crescent as a location, providing refurbished high-quality units with excellent access to Newcastle city centre to the west and Gateshead to the south.”
Paul Richardson from Commercial Estates Group said: “It’s a great start to the year to let the largest vacant unit on the estate.
“With interest levels we expect to have more good news in the very near future.”
Interest in the remaining three units is strong with enquiries coming from both local and national occupiers.
