Commercial property specialists Knight Frank has let two floors totalling 1, 400 sq.ft at West Farm, Ponteland Road, Newcastle to building specialist Aedis Regulatory Services, part of the Aedis Group, which also has a North East presence in Darlington and offices throughout the UK.

West Farm comprises a two-storey stone-built farmhouse conversion on Etal Estates land, subject to a mixed-use development of housing and offices.

Aedis has taken first and second floors on a five-year lease at £12 per sq ft. It is air-conditioned space with on-site car parking.

West Farm will also become a training hub centre and has already created an excellent impression on staff and clients.

Patrick Matheson, partner at Knight Frank, who completed the deal, said the space has been refurbished to a high standard to provide studio-style accommodation.

“For a business such as Aedis it ideal as it offers both a landscaped setting and yet is one minute from the A1M,” said Matheson.
