Biomass specialists The Wood Heating Company have been named Rural Heating Installer of the Year a London awards event.

The company, based in Cramlington, Northumberland, has more than 30 years’ experience and is one of the longest-standing installers of biomass systems in the UK.

Earlier this year The Wood Heating Company became one of just four companies on the final shortlist. They were then invited to meet the judging panel in London to face a series of questions about the business and how it was having a positive impact on the industry.

The H&V News Awards were hosted by Jeremy Vine last Thursday and saw more than 1,000 of the country’s leading names in building services gather to celebrate another successful year in the industry.
