A Newcastle-based technology firm has invested £150,000 in setting up a sub brand to help SMEs.
Three Motion Media, which has an office in Union Street, Ouseburn, Newcastle has set up Three Minute Trainer to provide niche three-minute videos.
The company, whose clients include Bacardi, MTV, Costa and Jack Daniels, and specialises in the development and production of digital video and motion graphics, has now recruited two more members of staff.
It sought assistance in setting up its new brand from Investment for Growth, receiving funding for the design and systems development of the website which hosts the training products and offers monitoring functions for businesses to track and analyse staff usage.
Funding was also secured for the design of marketing materials, which are already proving successful in attracting customers from as far as America.
Three Motion Media’s commercial director Gavin Knights, said: “We already deliver bespoke v-learning packages for large, high-profile brands and saw a need to provide high-quality learning models for SME’s with smaller budgets. We realised that for many subjects such as health and safety, the basic training is the same irrespective of whether you’re a construction company or a manufacturing company, so by developing one training course that many SME’s can purchase, they get high quality training at an affordable price.”
