AN offshore wind business is celebrating after its environmental and health management systems were accredited to two international industry benchmarks.

Technip Offshore Wind, which has offices in Gateshead, has been endorsed with the ISO 14001:2004(2) Environmental Management Standard as well as the OHSAS 18001:2007(3) for Occupational Safety & Health Standard.

It follows a year of working diligently to further enhance its HSE infrastructure.

Technip said that its latest achievement underpins the company’s commitment to becoming an industry leader in HSE performance as a leading provider of specialist offshore wind installation and project management services.

The scope of the certification includes Technip Offshore Wind’s offices in Aberdeen and Gateshead, as well as its base at the Port of Sunderland.
