The Friends of Fairy Dell works in restoring and improving the Middlesbrough environment for the community, while benefiting wildlife.

The group, based a short distance from Taylor Wimpey’s Rose Cottage Farm development, has used the donation for a much-needed boardwalk, flower beds and tools, to enhance its current gardening areas.

Dave Elliott, chairman of The Friends of Fairy Dell, said: “The money we have received from Taylor Wimpey has helped tremendously.

“The boardwalk in particular has been great, as we are now able to cater for more people with walking difficulties as well as people in wheelchairs and with pushchairs.”

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, added: “The Friends of Fairy Dell does some fantastic work throughout the whole community and with our Rose Cottage Farm development close-by, we were more than happy to help.”

Elliott concluded: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for its support.”
