Software solutions business Synergi Information Technology has scooped a hat-trick of business wins in its first month of trading in the North East.
Synergi, fronted by Peter Joynson, has picked up three new accounts representing around £50,000 worth of revenue and confirm the business is well on target to achieving sales of £500,000 in year one, with a targeted £2m within three years.
Synergi aims to tap into the growing opportunity for SMEs to access cloud-based software solutions, and the firm is now actively recruiting skilled technical and sales people who will drive forward their plans.
Joynson, managing director of Gateshead-based Synergi, said: “We always hoped for a positive start but month one has been better than we expected.
“The combination of an experienced team, our contacts, a desire to do things differently and offer new Microsoft technologies in a coordinated way is proving to be a winning formula.”
Joyson and his team of experienced technology specialists are offering regional and national companies a full range of new specially designed business applications (apps) and Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint and Office 365.
New business wins include Protirus, a leading Symantec and software business based in Newcastle, who have appointed Synergi to replace existing business software platforms, and Carlton Manufacturing, a cement and building materials supplier based in Rotherham with a site in Consett.
International Innovative Technologies (IIT), one of the UK’s leading specialist milling technology businesses, operating from Gateshead, has also enlisted Synergi.
Joynson added: “We’re really excited about the future.
“Companies are not just interested in our products but in our different approach to working with them; we are helping clients use technology better, establishing meaningful business relationships and embarking on a journey where we can get their business to move from good to great to extraordinary.”
While Synergi is a new force in the region, Joynson and his team have more than 20 years industry and technical knowledge and are well known around the North East.
More latterly Joynson was a director and former managing director of one of the UK’s leading IT support companies TSG North East. Prior to that he and his brother Mark ran successful Team Valley based financial software business, Joynson Ltd, which was acquired by TSG .Joynson is joined at Synergi by director David Kaye and senior David Charlton,
