Seta engineering programme to start soon

Training organisation Seta is offering a course to help unemployed people get into engineering

A Washington-based training organisation is offering unemployed people on South Tyneside the chance to take the first steps into a career in engineering.

Seta Ltd, the largest engineering training provider in Tyne and Wear, will be running a two-day-a-week course, offering a Level 2 Award in Industrial Environment Awareness, a Level 1 Award in Employability and Personal Development and a Practical Engineering Skills qualification.

Attendance on the course, funded by South Tyneside Council Adult and Community Learning, will not affect Job Seekers’ Allowance payments.

Seta is a not-for-profit Group Training Association and a registered charity.

Anyone interested in attending the training programme should call 0191 416 2860 or email
