Herding ducks is just one of the opportunities a North East hotel is offering its corporate clients this year.

Seaham Hall in Seaham, County Durham is giving business guests a chance to try their hand at a range of outdoor activities during their stay.

As well as competitive and non-competitive team-building games, within its 37-acre grounds.

There will be traditional country pursuits, such as archery and laser clay shooting.

The hall is even inviting teams of employees or delegates to herd ducks and learn the ancient art of falconry with British birds of prey.

Alternatively, for more energetic entertainment, the hall’s events team will organise a selection of large scale inflatable games and activities so teams can compete against each other in an It’s  A Knockout-style challenge.

A team of chefs from the 20-suite hotel’s Blunos Sea Grill and Ozone restaurants – both overseen by culinary director Martin Blunos – can also provide outdoor barbecues and themed dining events.

Ross Grieve, general manager, said: “Along with the outdoor pursuits we also provide a number of indoor activities, such as interactive treasure hunts, cocktail shaking classes and even chocolate making workshops.

“Our award-winning spa and restaurants, not to mention our stunning location, also make Seaham Hall a perfect venue for employers wishing to reward outstanding or long-serving staff or host important clients.”
