A North East business has services group been chosen to deliver a growth programme for a local enterprise partnership in the south east.
Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership - which operates across Surrey and Hampshire - has announced that the contract to manage and operate its growth hub has been awarded to a partnership led by the Seaham-based BE Group.
BE Group is a leading services provider that specialises in business information, events and commercial development programmes.
It is one of the partners, along with The Journal and accountancy firm UNW, in the Let’s Grow fund, which has created or safeguarded more than 6,000 jobs in the region in the last few years.
BE also runs the National Business Support Helpline and will be working with Aerian, Business South, Hampshire and Surrey county councils and a collaboration of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey universities in the new scheme.
The Enterprise M3 area stretches from the outskirts of London to the New Forest and includes the “growth” towns of Woking, Guilford, Farnborough and Basingstoke.
The growth hub has been designed to help all businesses succeed and grow by offering them advice and support. With a particular emphasis placed on helping businesses with significant growth potential.
